Kavo Zirconia

When the case calls for a crown or bridge that offers high performance coupled with outstanding aesthetics, Everest® ZS Zirconia restorations are the perfect solution. Everest® ZS Zirconia is CAD/CAM designed and CNC milled in the KaVo Everest® System from an industrially produced blank of presintered yttrium-stabilized zirconia oxide, ZrO2. The copings and frameworks are available in five different shades for natural shade matching so you don't have to compromise aesthetics for strength.

Zirconia Properties

Everest ZS-Blanks comprise presintered zirconium oxide which is milled in the soft chalk-like state and then finally sintered overnight in the Everest Therm. KaVo Everest ZS-Blanks can now be colored with VITA coloring liquid in 5 colors.
Furthermore, an independent study of the University of Munich has shown that Everest zirconium ceramic, whether uncolored or in color, exhibits no loss of flexural strength. Even after years, the Weibull flexural strength was constant at 1155 MPa.
